Ummmmm....Uhhhhh....If there werent So Much To Say about this show I'd be Speechless....Beautiful set. Amazing SMTS->ASTB->LIOG...I was offically Dumbfounded...BOyd Owned The stage Very Sweet LLD followed by nice versions of So Right and Crush. Stefan did an awesome job opening GIG. Very nice to hear Last Stop and a Lady-less Stay...then they left...if i were to goto this show and have them come out and only play the encore I'd be a happy man...GREAT to hear Best Of Whats Around...came out of left feild as a closing song followed by a Carter dominating Two Step all in all couldnt really ask for much more out of the DMB. Peace

Wow...I think this was about my 10th show and the SMTS-->ASTB-->LIOG was just the coolest thing. two of my favorites teaming up for about a 30 minute jam. Boyd was tearing it up on LIOG for a long, long time. The boys seemed to have a lot of energy since they were inside for the first time this summer. The DDTW opener gave the night its energy right off the bat. Lover Lay Down was a pleasant surprise. Last stop was great to hear live and Dave really got into it. Dave forgot a couple of lines throughout the night per usual. Angel was almost perfectly positioned in the set, givine me a chance to use the restroom. BOWA was really cool to play in the encore. It really got them out of the slow short one before the big closer. Great stuff. - Steve

Last night's show was AMAZING. I was behind the stage and all I saw was the band's asses...but it didn't matter we were close and WE WERE THERE!!! ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS...THEY PLAYED LOVER LAY DOWN. I have been waiting eight years to hear that song live...This is the fourth DMB show that I've been to and I had never heard it live before...AMAZING. KKJ was awesome and of course, the solos during LIOG were hella awesome. I'm glad they played alot of songs from UTTAD and Crash...not that I don't like the other albums...but those are my personal favorites!! ROCK ON DMB...I LOVE YOU!! -WENDI-

I am actually going to go against the majority of the submitters by saying this could have been a beeter concert. Sitting twenty rows center I was able to see what others may not have?? The energy was there through the first five songs especially during Warehouse (what an amazing song). Being this was my third concert of the summer, it was great to finally here it live this summer. Carter was amazing!!!! He seemed to have the most energy followed by Stefan, Boyd, and sorry to say everyone Dave. Dave seemed to be going through a routine. Not playing like he was into it. The crowd was hyped though for the concert. Best songs of the night were GIG, WAREHOUSE, LLD, ANGEL, LAST STOP, and Best of Whats Around. Once again I was disappointed with Two Step that was played one week ago at Riverbend. Two Step lasted 25 minutes last time to the 15-18 minute version this time. Why do you not like Michigan Dave. Due to the show with Tim at Rose Arena?????

Hmmmm...I am sure I will get heat for this, but i have to say, for my 28th show i was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong...alot of energy from the band, but nothing that is leaving me giddy. First time ever seeing Last Stop, which was great, very awesome. BOWA was great, but other than that, I was hoping for a few other "revived" songs...pay for what you get, dreaming tree, i'll back you up...and what is a detroit show with out #40. Oh well, You can't make everyone in the crowd happy all the time, I realize that...my favorites aren't necessarily your favorites...I will be in Chicago and Alpine all weekend so i am sure i will see those other songs then. Comerica Sucks !!! Seek up

Dang, the show at the Palace was amazing. I thought the DDTW opener set a great tone for the evening, Dave was very intense, you could see a vein on his neck on the jumbotron he was singing so hard. Warehouse was awesome, and almost everybody around me did the right WHOO's, so that was cool, the only bad part about Warehouse was when the rude people behind me interrupted the WHOO's and asked me if they had played Angel yet, i said no and laughed, and then unfortunately, they played Angel. Lover Lay Down was simply amazing, as was LIOG. Boyd flat out tore it up for most of the night, especially in those 2 songs. The encore was again, simply amazing. BOWA was awesome, and Carter took over on 2 Step, it was (I'm running out of adjectives) so sweet. The boys really outdid themselves tonight, and i was more than pleased to hear several songs from BTCS, making my 2nd concert a very memorable one.

this show was officially incredible...#5 for me and by far the best. awesome energy the entire night, and i got to hear a bunch of tunes i had yet hear live before: satellite, KKJ, LIOG, LLD, so right, last stop, and BOWA, all of which were amazing. angel and so right are my favs off everyday and are great live, crush is incredible, and BOWA was an unexpected treat. highlight of the night tho was the SMTS-->ASTB-->LIOG. wow, boyd is flat out the man, and the outro on SMTS with dave and stefan goin nuts was awesome. great night all around, thanks to the boys for makin it happen. cheers! -Adam

Freakin/ awesome show! I've been to 4 shows and that was the best. I loved the set, DDTW rocked the house, SMTS->jam->LIOG was amazing, Kit Kat was sweet, but Last Stop just stole the show. I've never seen the band that into it as they were. All and all, awesome show. Good encore too, BOWA is always cool to hear! Props to Boyd, it was his show and he rocked it out.

The show was sweet! SMTS -> ASTB -> LIOG was amazing, and yes Boyd did tear up some mad solos tonight, but lets not forget about the amazing Butch Taylor on the keys during LIOG as well! The encore of BOWA was a total shock, and it was good to hear that live for once. Totally a great encore closed with a version of TS which was pretty amazing as well... Looking back at last years show they played a lot of the same songs (if I remember correctly). Anyways, great show, I really enjoyed it!!!Peace!

Just like the rest of Dave's tour's since 1995 Leroi was shadowed lesser musicians. Butch Taylor slowed down LIOG to a snail's pace, leaving no room for the long lost Leroi solo. The show peaked with a powerful rendition of BOWA COMPLETE WITH LEROI SOLO. God I miss you Leroi...

First up i just want to thank the warehouse. We got their about 5:30 sat down waited a bit and a man came around started talking to us and upgraded us to the front row dead center. DDTW - Great opener lots of energy. Satellite - Felt good to hear this one. WTWE - Crowd loved this one it was a good warm one. Warehouse - Amazing song always good live. Kit Kat Jam - I loved it good to hear it. Angel - radio, radio, radio. Grey Street - good version longer jam at the end of this one than in pittsburgh but still not the full song. SMTS - when i heard this i knew something was up, they are going to pull something i was right when they went to into ASTB i knew something was coming sure enough LIOG - Boyd was amazing played a long long solo it was great to see it come back. Lover Lay Down - another good one to hear in concert. So right - lots of energy again. Crush - intersting to hear it late in the set, good jam. GIG good slide intro and solid song. The Last Stop - i thought it was going to be the closer, great great great song couldnt have asked for a better one. STAY - great closing song energy energy. BOWA - totallly shocked on this one a girl had a sign a few rows back, but i saw the setlist and BOWA was planned. WOW highlight of the night. TWOSTEP - 3 concerts two step 3 times, twice as the set closer once in the encore it doesnt get any better than two step to end a concert

Does anyone know why Dave doesn't play Pine Knob?(or whatever it's called now) Anyway, this was my 3rd show this summer and I had the worst seat and yet, it was the best show. Hearing So Much to Say, Warehouse and Lie in Our Graves were highlights for me. I think the band's energy was a little higher at Riverbend (I was there the first night), but the setlist was better tonight and I finally heard a groovy encore closer...Two Step. I worked at Pine Knob 3 summers in the early 80's, now live near Cinci (Oxford)..and it's always good to get back to Detroit. You can knock the city, but they enjoy their rock-n-roll! First time at Riverbend for a show my 10 year old daughter was told to sit down when she was dancing to Mary-Chapin Carpenter's I Feel Lucky. Dream show-Bob Seger/Dave Matthews....sooo you know I'm older than dirt-haha. Still waiting to hear Seek UP and One Sweet World live.

I am just going to give the highlights. It was a GREAT show, with a good mix of a show for 'lovers' and the intensity of classic DMB. So I couldnt believe when i heard Lover Lay Down...nice! I also thought So Right was a good song live. Nice to hear Leroi alot last night and alot of Jammin to LIOG and TWO STEP as a great closer. I thought it was one of the best sets that I have seen. This was my 10th show, and first this year. GOOD TIMES...like always!

the show was amazing!! people have informed me that a DMBshow blows you away and they put on a perfict performance, but this was more than i expected. i've eaten slept and breathed DMB for the past two and a half years, and this was my first show. talk about energy. all i have to say, as a drummer, is that the percussion work was OUTSTANDING. i couldn't beleive it. i was completly taken aback, and my seats were awesome. thanx to the people who made it possible
