It was my third show with the whole band and from my third row seats I was definately spoiled. Seek Up was a great opener that lasted almost 20 minutes and followed right into PNP -> Rapunzel which was played so tight. DDTW was was pretty cool live, but not my favorite and then things slowed down a little. Lover Lay Down was beautiful and almost no one knew what was going on when Boyd grabbed the mic to sing True Reflections. It was the first time live for me and I really enjoyed the fact that I could sing along while everyone else scratched their heads. Then they played Stay and the crowd had a lot of fun dancing around while getting back to their seats. Then a real surprise to me was the first Help Myself of the summer tour to my knowledge. Once again no one in the place knew what the song was, but they enjoyed it's energy. Crash brought everyone back to there seats again and the starry lights were once again a crowd favorite. Last stop is one the band's best live songs right now and Crush is pretty cool too. I could have done with out Satellite even though it sounded great. Recently had the great battle of Boyd and Roi with Carter going nuts on the drums. The came the So Much To Say-->ASTB-->Too Much closer followed by an Ants Marching encore. Everything sounded great and I always love the ASTB jam and the energy with Ants, but I was a little disappointed with the ending. A local radio station had a "Dinner with Dave" promo that obviously influenced the strong radio ending. Not much Davespeak/mumble at all other than the standard Thank you's. Overall this was a very good show played with a lot of energy (Nothing can touch a show with Bela though). I have now been spoiled with with having good seats to a show and don't think I'll be happy past the fifth row on the floor at any show from now on.
