Well Thursdays show kinda kicked this shows ass. Lack of variety was the problem here. Nothing special at all, a lot of radio songs. Kinda sucked in that respect. On a better note Carter was ON tonight. His SG solo lasted about 5 min. Dave and Stefan were going crazy and mockign Carter cuz he was going on for so long. Even the band is still in awe of Carter. Not many more highlights cuz there was nothing that gr8 about the show, esp. the damned 1 song R&R encore. No one was too thrilled about that. We talked to Fenton and Bagby before the show. Fenton was nice, very talkative and friendly but Bagby was truly an asshole. He basically wouldnt talk 2 us and rolled his eyes when we told him to have a good show. I never would've expected it... i guess u learn something new everyday. Well it was an ok show... see u in starlake

One word...Boyd! He came alive tonight, but look at the setlist. There were many oppertunities to jam, and jam the Boys did. By far the best show that I've been to (thanks in part to the 7th row Warehouse seats) out of 10. Dave had two mikes by him, and there were mike stands all over the venue that were NOT tapers, but ran to the soundboard (to record audience noise...?) What an awesome live CD this show would make, but maybe I'm dreaming. This tour is featuring new jams on Two Step, Jimi Thing, and #41 just to name a few, so y'all have much to look forward to!

The setlist was full some of their better jamming songs and they evidenced this by playing well off of each other and putting together good jams. The most impressive of the solos was Carter's intro to Say Goodbye. The guest electric guitarist added some good riffs. From hearing Long Black Veil it is one of the better covers that they have recently played. Highlights were my first Warehouse in 5 shows and refreshingly impressive versions of Rapunzel and Too Much. Davespeak included talking about watching the NBA playoff game there the night before.

This was the first show ive seen this tour and I personaly thought it had some extreme highs and a few lows. Warehouse too Two Step was fanominal!!! Carter tore it up on Say Goodbye, but I would have to agree that Boyd stole the show. He had more energy tonight then i've ever seen, his jam with Leroi was awsome. A few changes to some songs were well done and needed. Seek Up in mid set form was a very nice surprise. I personaly missed the Bridge into Too Much! All in all i thought the band had more fun jamming and shooting the shit through out the show, then ive seen in the past. One last thing, the craziest thing i witnesed that night besides the two ladies i saw having a little fun at a Dave show, nothing wrong with that, was that when the band closed the set off, Carter fell to his knees behind the drum kit and it seemed like he was going through alot of pain. He was helped off stage and hopefully all was alright. Just my ramblings....
