Hey, Amazing shows both nights. I've been a fan for 6 years and cannot complain. They were great. However, i feel extremely ripped off that he has been playing Say Goodbye and Time of the Season ALL OVER THE PLACE but doesnt give us either of them on either of the nights!!! I was sooooooo disapointed because i probably wont ever see them for myself. GREAT SHOWS but feel like we got gipped. He better put say goodbye in camdens encore next year. Thats what i'll be screaming for!!!

Unbelievable!! That is the only word I can use to describe one of the most amazing nights of music I have ever been to. This is only my second DMB show, but I am a concert veteran. This show is now in my top 5 list of concerts I have ever been to, going back to the 80's. The energy was in top form, from both the audience and the band. Four big time jams (DN, Bartender, AATW & Two Step). The song "Stolen Away" was performed while seated, and though it had the full band, it was an intimate approach to a beautiful song. Carter was up to his usual antics behind the drums, and provided all the power that was needed. The new stuff played very well in a live setting. Dave amped it up on "Louisiana Bayou" (which is going to be a crowd pleaser for a long time). The show got off to a raucous start with SMTS and R&R. No one sat down for most of the show. And, lets not forget an incredible light show and who can ever get enough of the naked lady image as a back drop (in lights). I'm still buzzing! It was just a great, great, GREAT show. Bravo!

Well, Wednesday's show certainly did not match the intensity of the previous night. Personally, I like the new songs. They sound fantastic live. I just wish they would play 4 or 5 each show, instead of 8 or 9. The band is touring all summer, and can easily play each song plenty of times throughout the summer. But for a 2-day run, it would have been nice to have heard some more variety in the music. What happened to "Grace is Gone," "Drive in Drive Out," or "Seek Up?"

As for the show itself, there were some highlights. "Nancies" was absolutely intense. Boyd was so fired up that I thought he was going to fall off the stage. "Bartender" was awesome as always, and the "Watchtower" that closed the set was tremendous. Otherwise, I felt the band lacked some energy and was kind of going through the motions.

This is not a harsh criticism of DMB. They are still the best live act in the world right now, and I would see them again in a heartbeat. It would just be nice if, with their expansive repertoire, we could hear some different tunes every now and again. We understand there's a new album, Dave. We get the point.

Well this was my 11th Dave show. Everytime I go see them I wonder if they can live up too the last time I saw them. Not only can they but they do it better. SMTS as an opener was sick followed by R&R and then OSW. I was surprised we got three oldies right off the bat. All the new stuff sounds great live Bayou was jammed out nice, and I think that song will become a staple in their lineup. Watchtower always off the chain had the same energy as Central Park. Now I am not complaining about this song because it is a DMB classic but every show there is a TWo Step chant. To the crowds joy they closed with it but they play it all the time. I would love to see something else used like Billies or DDTW. Just to change it up. Oh and The lighted FIRE DANCER really cool too. It shows me Dave and the guys are still in touch with their begings I can't wait for Randall's island and Red Rocks.

It is nearly impossible to not be blown away by dave when you are sitting center stage in the 2nd row. this was my 3rd DMB show (plus one dave & friends show) and they really did rock. I would have liked more older songs. But I understand, they are promoting the new songs. Dancing Nancies was great. Carter at the end with Two Step (which the crowd asked for ..."Two Step. Two Step") he was just WHALING on those drums. It was incredible. At one point, Dave was playing his guitar with not one, but two broken strings. But he kept going. Being so close I could see all of their facial expressions. They were just enjoying themselves and having a great time. The encore closed with Two Step, but I thought that Steady as we go was sorta mellow for an encore. But I'm not complaining. I was so happy to be there that there were tears of joy welling up!! Awesome, kick ass show.

This was my 12th show and I just might be able to say it was my favorite yet. Aside from not playing Pig, I couldn't have asked for much more! Closing the first set with Watchtower?!?! Insane... Encore of Steady as we go and TWO STEP... double insane. Two step is just one of those songs that never gets old. Opening up American Baby with 55th? Incredible. I had fourth row tickets for Tues. nights show and was on the lawn tonight... I was more happy on the lawn tonight with this set list. Amazing performance..the new cd sounds 10 times better live. Well done boys... well done.

What an awesome ending to a great two day stint at the waterfront. G-love and special sauce were awesome as always. I am really diggin the new stuff especially Stolen away on 55th and 3rd. I wouldn't consider myself an emotional guy but that changed when a dude proposed to his girlfriend during this song. I lost it and cried like a 5 year old. Bartender was amazing as always. I love it when dave's veins are sticking out of his neck when he's screaming - it really gets the crowd going. Not as much energy from the crowd as last night, but watchtower and what would you say were as energetic as any i've seen out of 15 shows. Bayou, stand up, and american baby were great, much better than on the album. And of course, there is no better closer than two step. Great show boys!

I also have to commend the lighting crew on the amazing display on stage. It looked like they were playing on the outskirts of a jungle or something, and i loved how they lighted up the firedancer as a backround.

WOW. I must say an incredible show it was. This was about my 8th time seeing DMB and in my opinion it ranks 2nd to a Veterans Stadium show I saw in Summer of 2000. Great intensity, awesome sound, killer lights, and a terrific setlist with a good mix of old and new, however I would have liked to maybe heard a couple less new and a couple more classics such as Tripping Billies, Grace is Gone, #41, Lie in Our Graves. But anyhow I was still extremely pleased and will still continue to attend shows anytime possible. Oh and did I mention the plethora of Hot Chicks. LOL

Great Job DMB!!!!!!!

While a DMB concert could never be described as bad this is as close as it gets. It's my third time seeing them this summer (Hartford night 2 and Scranton) and close to my 15th time overall. Easily the worst performance. They played with energy and Boyd was great but the setlist was awful. I love the new songs live with the exception of Out of my Hands which I just don't think is a concert song. But in the other two shows they mixed in five or six of the new tunes around older jams. Last night they just forced the entire new CD. Bad decision. While I enjoyed all the new songs in the other two concerts, last night I just couldn't wait for them to end and move on to something else. Also, I hated the venue. I've been to Hartford, SPAC, Hershey and Scranton for summer shows and they all blow Camden away. Never in my life have I paid for parking. Fifteen dollars--are they out of their minds? At all other venues it's part of the ticket price. I sat in the back of the pavillion and spent the night getting littered with objects from the lawn. Let's just say I left the venue unfulfilled.

This was one of the best show's and it was my 14th. The intensity that was displayed was incrediable, especially after what I thought was a pretty intense show on Tuesday. Boyd, what more can be said but amazing, outstanding, and incrediable, he was on fire, true showman, when he lost the glasses and didn't even miss a step. The rest of the guys were great as always too, but for some reason Boyd was just on. I guess the two break did them some good. I too have to admit not really a big fan of some of the new stuff, but they are defintly bringing some life to them in the live shows. Bayou was defintly a highligt, especially among the new stuff. I was just happy to hear OSW, always seem to get lucky and hear it every year.

Ok, this is my first posted review of a DMB show. First off, let me say that I thoroughly enjoyed both nights at Tweeter Center. People who complain about parking or other issues, might find that if they take the ferry over from Philadeplhia they might enjoy themselves better. Besdies what better way to conclude a DMB show by going over to Pat's, Geno's or Jim's right? Munchies anyone??

I have been to many shows somewhere between 10 and 15 now, so I look forward to the variety Dave and band will play. I do not get disappointed if classics are put aside in exchange for new material, while I certainly would love to hear the staples (LIOG is a personal favorite) I still marvel at the muscial virtuosity of the band. My review is moreso a combined reaction to the 2 night stand. WELL DONE!!!.

I had no idea how the new songs would translate live but was really surprised at songs that I didn't expect to be as great as they are. For instance Bayou just simply KICKS ASS. Holy cow, where did those jams come from? And no one even mentions the Harmony Dave and the boys have. I just feel the new album have infused the band with such an enthusiasm, they seem as vibrant as ever. It also seems the classics are getting a new life as well. I have never heard Nancies performed as intensely as I did last night. Boyd just was smokin on his fiddle....ooofah.

Carter''s drum kit can never be given justice on the live albums, you just have to hear it live. Even Butch was on fire.

I turned to my fiance and told her to "hold on to her ass" when Stefan began the bass intro to AATWT, and as usual it didn't disappoint.

My only criticism is not of the show but of the fans. A lot of DMB concert vets and I seem to agree that many fans are not interested in the music as much as they are each other. For two nights (one with seats, the other on the lawn) I was surrounded by classic Dave fans who are as nice as anyone, and others who spent the entire night on their cell phone talking and text messaging. Concert decorum just doesn't exist, especially when you have HS kids who are wasted and in public for the first time...hey you wanna drink or what-not more power to you, just learn to handle yourself.

I saw many fights on the lawn from a constant parade of people trying to walk in front of people. All night, everyone was moving around, not dancingmind you, just walking and bumping into others, stepping on toes, etc. I had to ask one girl to get her ass out of my fiances face. She was oblivious, turned around saw that she was DEAD in front of her, and was like...huh? Yet through it all the music reached me, and still lifted my spirits in that way that only DMB can.

Wow, what a difference a month makes. This was my 7 and 1/2(if you count live 8) show and the first time i have seen them more than once in a summer. I was at the Tinley Park show, which was my first time seeing them outside of the delaware valley. Tinley park was nice, but the band has gotten so much stronger since then, The new songs, which were nice to hear a month ago have become incredibly solid performances, and a few like LOUISIANA BAYOU and STAND UP are close to being able to carry a show by themselves. A couple of important changes i think they made were: 1. Dave using the electric on LB, and carter dropping the drum pad all together, the effects that thing was giving him were not that exciting and nothing his couldn't replicate on his usual set. As for the set as a whole, extremely solid, nice mix of old and new, Boyd was particularly on fire, esp. during NANCIES. The TWO STEP closer was amazing, and had this odd little lead in, a wasn't sure what they were playing or was exactly dave was singing, but it sounded ok, maybe it will grow into something. Overall the best show i have seen from them in about two or three years.

"2 Nights in Camden" This would be a great title for a new live album. The boys sounded awesome as usual. Not as much energy as the tues. show but pretty close. SMTS and RnR were a great way to start the show.ONE SWEET WORLD is one sweet song. It just never gets old. DREAMGIRL and HUNGER are going to be concert songs for a long time. OUT OF MY HANDS is an odd song to hear live but they sounded great playing it. BARTENDER was cool and BAYOU had the place going nuts. You can tell how much they love to play it. WWYS is always a great sounding song and tonight was no different. STOLEN AWAY was awesome even with Dave sitting down for it. It was really a tight song. AMERICAN BABY brought the place right back up and into WATCHTOWER. Great song and they play it way up there but its time to put it on the backburner for a little while. The encore of STEADY AS WE GO and 2STEP was just awesome. This was the BEST version I ever heard. Live or cd. 20+ minutes. It seemed like they really did not want stop playin. And the interlude/intro to 2STEP was crazy. Two awesome shows. High energy. Fans that were into it both nights. Music and vocals were phenomonal. The boys were just intense. "2 Nights in Camden" has a nice ring to it.

I left Tuesday saying it was one of the best shows I've ever seen...until Wednesday. Right off the bat SMTS, R&R, OSW, and DG set the tone for what was sure to be a high energy night. After having heard mixed reviews about the new stuff, all I can say is you have to hear it LIVE. The CD just doesn't do it justice. Stand Up, Bayou, and American Baby had the place going nuts and my GOD the jamming was more fierce than ever!! Between The Stone, Ants, and Typical Situation on Tuesday and Bartender, Watchtower, & Two Step on Wednesday, I'd say we heard some of the best live versions of all of these songs. Of my 6 shows these two are top of the list. Good stuff boys...good stuff!!!

2 words: infinitely disappointing. I am a huge fans, but it seems the past few DMB concerts I've left wanting more. Their intensity and energy is not what it once was. Maybe chalk it up to them getting older, or their untouchable status (ie we can play whatever and however we want, and we're still going to sell out arenas), but their live shows are not what they once were.

Moreover, I would like to vent about the setlist selection. The new album is great and all, but don't play 9 out of the 14 songs that are on it! 5 of which were repeats from the night before!! I feel badly for people at the concert who haven't had a chance to check out the new album.

And finally, the encore. Steady As We Go should be outlawed as an encore song. I want to leave that place energized - don't play a slow ballad for an encore! Two Step was fine, but it is getting overdone. DMB has plenty of songs in its catalog to bring the house down, I suggest they begin using them again.

i'd have to say this show ranks #2 for me only behind MSG on 12.21.02! maybe it's because after 6 years of going to shows i finally got 3rd row, but i felt some major intensity and i thought the boys rocked the house. i only wish they would lengthen "hunger" live because that song kicks ass and they need to let fonz riff on the electric in the studio more often. he really seemed to be enjoying himself up there all night. i just love "old dirt hill" and seeing roi sing along even tho he wasn't in front of a mic was a real treat. "bartender" was on my hope for list and it was sick...killed me! "bayou" is a great live song. i enjoy "stolen away" for a mellow tune, dave does a nice job. "watchtower" was frenzied and it is a good closer although predictable! i didn't know if the band would oblige the "two step" chant and we could see boyd with the bow, then put it down, then pick it up and finally he put it down and they started and the place went nuts! they tore it up! i'm a little sad that my 3 shows for the summer are done so early in the season, but what a great summer of dmb it was! here's hoping for a fall/winter d&t possibility. ;)

Worst show of the 14 I have seen. Its nice that they are playing new songs but back to back and every slow one they have on there is just overkill. I was ready to walk out right before American Baby. The damn Two Step chant was killing that Interlude and then playing it over Rapunzel, common. They did the same Watchtower,Two Step combo on 7-16-02. This show was very hyped up to get some older songs like Say Goodbye and many people's dreams were shattered. This is one of the worst runs at Camden and one of the few (if any) runs where the first night was better than the second.

ONE SWEET WORLD for one sweet show. God I love that song live. It was nasty. SO MUCH R+R was a cool opener. NANCIES! Heard it at Hershey, loved it at Tweeter even more. I love BARTENDER live now. It hasn't gotten old, and Dave pours it out on the vocals. Kind of sick of WATCHTOWER, but always a good closer. The crowd got what it wanted with TWO STEP as the encore. STEADY AS WE GO is just watered down dribble. Show highlight was NANCIES and WWYS. The jam on WWYS was sick at Camden.
