This was a radio show on WNEW 102.7 that was broadcast from The Bar Bat, I think. It was scheduled to start at 12:00 but once again Dave was late. The station played Two Step, Jimi Thing, and Crush during the delay. They cut in halfway through Crush. Dabe said he had a bad hangover and had just gotten up. The Stone and Don't Drink The Water were basicaly the same as yesterday's radio show. Crash Into Me was definetly a surprise. Dave's voice sounded horse in the beginning of it. #41 was absolutely amazing. It was the highlight of the show. Dave also answered questions from the audience. He explained who wrote Angel From Montgomery and talked about the differences between playing small venues and staduiums. He also explained that Don't Drink The Water was inspired by the changing times and how change can be damaging. He said the song was inspired by the United States but could be anywhere. He told a story about how enthusiastic soccer fans in Argentina are. The show lasted about an hour.

Incredible. After talking to the crew, I found that capacity at this place was 350. The venue was a REALLY run-down church( some sort of Eastern Orthodox I believe). The place was made pretty by VH1 , but if it weren\'t for the generator truck outside, no one would have known a concert was going on there. This place was very obscure. Anyhow, this was a dream come true. More Dave Speak than I could have imagined. GREAT CROWD. Respectful and the whole nine. Just a great atmosphere and overall great night. Sorry for those who weren\'t there, you may have missed the definitive Dave and Tim show. I only know of one taper, but hopefully there were a few more. Great show, make sure and watch it (sometime in the next few weeks).

This was probably the best Dave show I will ever see. I was no more than 20 feet away through the entire show. He could have gone without an amp and I would have heard just fine. Overall it was very educational. He displayed the "true" meanings to a few songs for the first time ever. For example, a jimi thing is not a joint, its a condom, but that has nothing to do witht the song. He called it the "jimi thing" when it was a work in process becuase he thought the opening riff sounded like a jimi hendrix tune, and somehow that phrase got worked into the song. It was an amazing show, and Dave and Tim seemed very comfortable. Dave wasn't afraid to stop a song in the middle and start over if needed. He did so with spoon when he opened the song with the last verse, and with xmas song when he heard a "buzzing noise". The song he wrote with Santana "John the Revalator" is such an amazing tune. I was dissapointed that we didn't get to hear "digging a ditch", or Halloween. I thought he would for sure play Halloween and I'll back you up just because there would be a story to link the two together. I also thought he would play little thing. Also, the song currently titled "new song #1 - On Bended Knee" is being called "the bartender song" or just "bartender" by Dave. He made it quite clear that is what he's calling it as he explained the meaning of it. As usual Tim was amazing with outstanding solos. It was a 3 hour 15 minute show, that will be cut down to 45 minutes for TV, but wow was it perfect. Overall it was an amazing show, with the most intimate setting you could ever imagine.

"Welcome to Storytellers" Wow...what a show. It was held in an old church called the Angel Oresanz Foundation (at least that's what my ticket says)near the village. Very intimate setting with a few obstructed-view seats but an overall nice setup. The sound was great from where I was sitting and the crowd was very respectful. I was surprised that Dave seemed a bit uncomfortable throughout the night trying to fill the air with stories...almost forcing them. I think the highlight for me was the new Dave/Santana song John the Revelator. What a great, great song. It probably won't make it onto VH1 because they were changing film on the main camera during its performance. It is a shame if it doesn't make it. I'm looking forward to hearing it in Foxboro with Santana. Tim blazed the whole night. The man is just unreal. He remained quiet until during the Q&A session. Someone asked Tim to say something and his reply was "ostrich intestines"...plain and simple. They played what I thought was a good mix of tunes over the 3 hr set. Overall, a great experience that I will probably not match anytime soon.
