This was kind of a hard show to rate. It seemed to be a a bit mellow for a third out of three nights and I didn't really understand finishing with Everyday to close everything down. Maybe on night one or two, but I wasn't expecting that on night three. Last year on night three it was all classics and I may have been comparing this year to the previous, which is unfair to do.

That being said, I have seen Dave enough now (28 times)to know that each night is special in it's own way. We say all four new songs for the third night in a row, but I still wasn't disappointed they played them all again. I love all the new songs especially "Cornbread" and "Eh Hee". "Watchtower" in the middle of the set with Robert Randolph was AWESOME. I saw it with him last year in Denver and I love what he brings. Also, whenever I hear "Watchtower" played I think they're winding the show down so any song they play after that is gravy in my mind. The highlight of the show was finishing "LIOG" in the encore. I had seen this year they were finishing it later in the show, but I am not aware of them finishing it on a different night. I spent the whole second night waiting for them to finish it, and by the time they pulled it out in the encore night 3 I had completely forgot about it. "Grace is Gone" for only the second time this summer was also great. It was probably the best version I have ever seen personally.

All in all it was a good night. I will never complain about being at the Gorge seeing Dave. Every time I get the chance I cherish it and so should everyone else who has the opportunity.
