Two Step was a GREAT opener! Carter and Stefan went at it for an incredible opening jam. Then Leroi had a solo for a couple of minutes and the band went into PNP and Rapunzel. While Rapunzel is a great live song, it was, in my opinion, the worst song of the night. Dave messed up all the words. It was funny at Roanoke, but it went a little far at the beach. It wasn't on purpose this time. He messed up so bad that there were a few times when he was just at a loss for words. #41 was the same with the words thing, but it was a nice surprise to the setlist and a great jam. Crush as always was beautiful and then to be followed by BOWA was a great surprise. That song was probably the highlight for the crowd it seemed. The Last Stop was incredible. Dave continued the song about four times at that part when you think the song's done but then they just explde and play some more. It was right at that part "This is the Last Stop." and they stop playing music, but then the band came back in with the "Yeah hah it's more than growing..." but they did it four times i think. Just an incredible incredible version. It got the energy up even further than it was before. There's nothing to say about Satellite. Greg Howard added a lot to DDTW. THe crowd didn't seem to be able to stay standing for Dreaming Tree, although it was a great song. It wasn't the best choice for a live show though, but with Greg Howard it was hard to resist. Then there was a great jam followed by Too Much. Boyd absolutely rocked on Nancies. He was all over the stage. One Sweet World had the blue lights backdrop which hightened the beautifulness of the song. Tripping Billies was the traditional performance style. Crash was normal and AATW was a welcome addition to the tour scene again. Most songs were just on the 10 mintue mark for this show. IMO the highlights were the incredible Last Stop and the re-birth of #41. A big surprise was that there was no Stay. The Roanoke Stay kicked ass, partly because there were no back-up singers, so the abcense(spelling) could be good or bad. Stefan and Leroi took up the spotlight more in this show, a great addition. Partying with the Nancies added to the fun of the experience making the 7-22 show a memorable experience.
