I would consider this to be the better of the two Dave Matthews Band shows I've been to thus far. The previous one was enjoyable as well but last night the band seemed more alive and into the music (especially Dave). Not to mention my tenth row seats didn't hurt either! Billies was a pretty solid tune to begin the show with. I was very pleased to hear For The Beauty of Winona at the show. A rare treat! Don't Drink The Water seemed to have a pretty good edge to it. Perhaps the song that sort of dragged the most would've been Crush. I think the show peaked after the band did Anyone seen the Bridge and they kicked into Too Much. Just a very energetic version from the band with great solos as usual. All in all another solid show from the boys and it seemed like the band was in good spirits. Especially Dave and Carter. Both seemed to be smiling a lot and laughing during the show. It was also a treat to hear Tim Reynolds and Greg Howard during the show. Both mix very well with the band. Can't wait to go see Dave & Tim soon!

I have seen the band 3 times now and I got the priveledge of seeing Dave and Tim as well. This was actually the second time this year I saw the guys and its was amazing. As good as this springs show at Irvine( with Bela Fleck and the Flecktones) was it could not match the energy and sound of the latest show. Tim Reynolds and Greg Howard bring so much to the group and it seemed to me that they got all the others a little more excited. The set list was well varied and the version of Watchtower for an oncore was the best I have ever heard, live or taped. Thanks for the show, you guys are keeping the spirit of touring alive.

Awesome show. The guys looked they were having a great time, (and I could definatly see from my 13th row seast):) The opend with TB, which was great, it really go the crowd going. I'd say the highlight of the night was Wynona, I was probably the only one in the pit who knew what song it was, and at this time everyone went to go get some drinks, so I decided to sneak up as close as possible. Tim and Greg added some much that night. Greg had an awesome jam into Watchtower, just like 7/24/98. Great version of Watchtower, both Boyd and Tim had their solos. I was glad to hear ASTB, which they would amke that into some 15 minute jam. I love it. Crsuh was good. Warehose was awesome, along with PNP and Rapunzel, great Typical Situation jam. And Ants was great!! One of the best evrsions ever. They dragged Boyd's solo out for a long time, it was incredible. I can't wait to see them again, I waiting for Dave and Tim soon! If anyone had a copy of this show, please let me know. I have lots to trade, including many '98's and CD-Rs.
