All I can say is that if you should run across these tapes, copy them as quick as you can. I got lucky enough to find a friend who got them off the internet. Pretty wierd to hear myself screaming like a maniac. Highlights: When dave and co. came out there were no more than 100 americans smothering the stage in a bar-like atmosphere. The rest of the 800 capacity crowd showed up maybe a half hour into the show. Of course I enjoyed every front row rare experience of it. I could not think of anything better than seeing dave and the boys playing in a bar in Amsterdam. I must have pinched myself 14 times. Like I was saying when dave came out I thought he would laugh at the small crowd and call it a night. Much to our surprise he ripped out over two hours of mind-blowing tunes. Tripping was a tad slower and groovier than normal and I have found no other tape that matches it's tightness. The nest thing I remember well was daves guitar strings breaking during two step. If you hear the tapes you can tell somethings not right. Then later on Boyds mini jam Dave messes up by trying to sing "Hey My lover.." But he got cut off because boyd decided to keep going. One of my favorite parts of the show. Another bad ass part was when Boyd went BALLS OUT during the jam in Lie in our Graves. The whole band got a little jam out of this, even Carter got tricky with it. However, nothing still gives me chills like the applause that Boyd got after his extra long solo(LIOG). The crowd started to cheer normally then just as the crowd was dying and dave and carter still going Boyd took a bow that made the crowd of 800 sound like a crowd of 8000. It was truly electrifying and I still get the chills when I hear it over. Last cool part was when,(you can hear it in the tape) this chic right next to me who had been screaming Dancing Nancies all night, finally got her wish. She yells it out, and dave looked right over at us, made one of his classic faces and nodded yes and went right into the tune. I never laughed so hard.
