This was my 11th time seeing Dave and it was a very good DMB show. I liked it a lot better without Bella Fleck. I'm not saying I hate Bella but they were playing the same exact jams with Dave since 12/27/96. Seek Up was back to its old jam without Bella trying to play his banjo along to the boys. The Song That Jane Likes was a treat and Leave Me Praying was better than I expected. The other songs off of Crash were played the same as they have been the last few years and weren't too impressive. (Lie In Our Graves, Say Goodbye, So Much to Say, etc.) The Anyone Seen the Bridge needs to stop, it hasn't changed since October of last year. I didn't like Drive In Drive Out as a closer, I have to admit Ants works better for me. The crowd was pretty good, most knew the songs and were singing along. Although almost everyone sat down during Minarets, Leave Me Praying and Seek Up because they hadn't heard them before. All in all it was a great show.

It was a hot night in Atlanta last night and I'm not talking about the weather. Dave Matthews and his band came to Lakewood fair grounds and played and rocked like this town has never seen before. Los Lobos was the opening act. But I knew as well as the crowd we wanted to see Dave, Carter, Leroi, Boyd, and Stefan. The show had its fair share of new "hit" songs as well as an older playlist. This made me and several other older DMB fans happy. Dave included what sounded like South African tribal songs on Minarets (which is on great song). I'm not sure so if anyone knows e-mail me. In all Dave and the boys put on a show of a lifetime for this fan. I've seen him 5 times and this by far was the best show I have seen.

This was my 5th time seeing the band and I thought that it was an good show. The boys sounded great but I didn't care for the setlist, I was hoping for a little more new songs. The only one I heard, Leave Me Praying, was great. I'd also never heard the intro to Minarets that they played and loved it. The three R2T songs were a treat. I'd never heard TSTJL live (other than R2T) and was pleasantly surprised. Also, before the show, they played TR3 over the speakers.
