We just received this notice from BMG Distribution: "Tonight's DMB show (Monday, April 15th) has been Postponed due to Doctor's Orders. Tomorrows show (Tuesday, April 16th) is still happening as of now. Please hold onto your tickets for the 4/15 show, it will be rescheduled and those tickets will be honored. We will let you know the new date, asap." The Madison Square Garden website credits this to a vocal injury: "Regretfully, tonight's performance at Madison Square Garden has been postponed due to Doctor diagnosed strain on Dave Matthew's vocal chords. At this time all other performances, including April 16th, will continue as scheduled. Dave Matthews Band representatives are working with Madison Square Garden on confirming a new date. Tickets for tonight's performance will be honored on the rescheduled date. Refunds will be done at point of purchase. More information will be posted as it becomes available. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause." More info to follow as we hear it. 3:18pm Update: Vocal strain apparently also resulted in Dave sitting out the tribute to Willie Nelson that was held in Nashville last night.
