DMB Mulling Travel Services

Today's Wall Street Journal features an article on the growing trend of bands starting travel services for the purpose of aiding their fans in following the band on tour. (And, not incidentally, making a healthy profit in the process.) The article largely focuses on the services run by String Cheese Incident and New Orleans Cajun rock band The Radiators, though the author mentions that DMB "is considering setting up its own fan travel service." Apparently these services are great for fans, but not so good for bands: "As the bands have learned, the biggest risk of getting into the travel business may be the close proximity to hard-core fans." Thanks to Rob Potanovich and Adam Fishman for the info.
