DMB on Letterman Tonight

Dave Matthews Band will perform on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight. The show begins at 11:30pm ET/PT, on CBS, with Dave Matthews Band performing in the last minutes of the hour-long broadcast. It was just back in May that DMB appeared on Letterman, playing "American Baby." Performing again so soon is unusual, but David Letterman has long gone out of his way to have the band on his show. A year ago May, Dave Matthews and Trey Anastasio appeared on the show with Orchestra Baobob; in December of 2003, Dave Matthews and Friends played on Letterman two nights in a row; and DMB appeared on the show in July 2002, in an unusual performance recorded on the roof of the Ed Sullivan Theatre.

Update: D'oh. It's a repeat of the May broadcast, which the Late Show website neglects to mention. Mea culpa.
