How to Win a Copy of Bonnaroo 2004 Music Festival on CD

Bonnaroo is held out in Tennessee, where, due to inclement weather and whatnot, it can either be incredibly hot (hello, expensive bottled water!) or rainy and wet (insert comment about mud in orifices here).

We'd like to get from you a written piece on what and where you feel is the best venue ever for the Dave Matthews Band (we are, after all, a DMB website). Consider the following, though:

  • Yes, Charlottesville is where they're from. Scott Stadium, arguably, was not the best venue they could have played in.
  • Yes, everyone loves Red Rocks, so guaranteed we're going to have a few dozen people try to explain why.
Your writing skills must be honed to razor-sharp perfection. I know mine aren't, so I'm not entering. I can't anyways, since I work here. Never mind.

The Directions.

Please, read these.

  1. You're going to be sending an email to nanciescontest@gmail.com. You can enter as many times as you want, though we don't understand quite why you'd do that.
  2. Please, first and foremost, give us your email and ship-to address. We will not share this information with anyone unless you win, in which case we will share it with Gigante Media, the company that markets this disc. We'll also be publishing your submission, because we've been trying for ages to get good guest writers, but in most cases, guest writers can't write.
  3. IF YOU SEND US AN ESSAY WITH NO PERSONAL INFORMATION, IT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED A SUBMISSION. We apologize for the caps lock. People just don't get it otherwise. Simply put, we are not going to hunt you down for your address. If you realize you sent us just an essay, send it again (it's in your Sent Items folder, maybe?) with your address.
  4. The submission period will end on Sunday, April 24th at 9 pm EST. After that, we've got to go through the submissions, and we'll announce the winner later that week.

That's it! Happy writing!
