ATO Records artist Patty Griffin has been nominated for a Grammy in the "Best Contemporary Folk Album" category for her latest release, 1000 Kisses. Competing for the award are Johnny Cash's "American IV: The Man Comes Around," The Chieftains' "Down the Old Plank Road," Steve Earle's "Jerusalem," and Nickel Creek's "This Side." This is Griffin's first Grammy nomination. ATO ("According To Our") Records was launched in early 2000 by Coran Capshaw, Dave Matthews, Michael McDonald and Chris Tetzeli. Our thanks to Matt Casey for the tip.
