Agents of Good Roots Reunion Show This Saturday

By Brian Pace
Former Red Light Management and RCA recording artist Agents of Good Roots are performing publicly in a rare one-off concert this Saturday, September 6 at Jammin' Java in Northern Virginia. AGR, oldtimers will recall, were originally slated to be the first act signed under Red Light's then-new recording label, ATO Records - a slot that eventually was filled by David Gray. AGR shows in Charlottesville and Virginia Beach were also the source of the widely-circulated "Riders on the Storm" recording featuring Dave Matthews on vocals in May 1997, as well as the initial Dave Matthews performance of "Captain" in June 1996. Tickets are $12 ($10 in advance) and can be reserved by calling (703) 255-1566 ext. 8.
