Fleck to Appear on New Album, Tour

Bela Fleck will have a "significant role" on the DMB album currently being recorded, and may even be joining the band on the road this summer, Flecktones tourdates allowing, according to a pair of reliable sources. Fleck, an acclaimed banjo player and head of the Flecktones, contributed to Before These Crowded Streets, and has toured extensively with Dave Matthews Band since the mid 90s, so selecting him to get involved comes as no great surprise, although the decision was apparently made quite abruptly, just in the past few days.
