Sony Releasing DMB Catalog in Australia

Some of DMB's back catalog will be released in Australia later on this month, according to Sony Music Australia. Under the Table and Dreaming, Crash, Before These Crowded Streets, Everyday and the Central Park Concert CD set will all be released by Sony Australia on February 28, followed by the Central Park DVDs on March 7. The news comes a few weeks after the announcement that Dave Matthews Band will launch a mini tour in Australia in late March, and a year after the band secured all distribution rights to their music outside of North America, allowing them to strike this deal with Sony. This is the band's first big extra-American push since their abandoned attempt at making a name for themselves in Western Europe a few years ago, and may mark the beginning of a new phase in the band's development.
