"Everyday" Video Premieres Friday

The video for "Everyday" will premiere during Friday's broadcast of MTV's "Total Request Live." The new single is appearing in place of the originally-planned single, "When The World Ends," which was scrapped in light of the recent terrorist attacks. The "Everyday" video was filmed in the band's hometown of Charlottesville, Virginia in late October, and features a man walking along the Downtown Mall and hugging everybody that he comes across. Portions of the video were filmed at the band's C'ville studio, and a secret portion was recorded in New York City, resulting in some speculation as to if it might have been filmed at the former site of the World Trade Center. 11/15/01 Update: We have it on good authority that the NYC portion of the video involves filming at the former site of the WTC and hugging of firemen. Additionally, Virgin Records is reporting that "Blue Man Group will make a cameo appearance" in the video. This should be interesting.
